Pressure Cooker

Sorry everyone! I don't keep up on my blogging like I should so now I have been doing this for hours trying to catch up.....It will take you forever just to read my new posts..

So Chad's dad makes beans almost every week in a pressure cooker. They are so good!! We take a tupperware home of them almost every time!! I was telling my aunt about wanting a pressure cooker to try and make them. She said she has had my great grandma's for 10-15 years and never even used it. She gave it to us yesterday and we made some today!! MMMM!!! They actually turned out! Using a crock pot these beans take hours.....with a pressure cooker: fifteen minutes. Can't beat that!! There is hamburger and jalepenos and green chiles. Thats it! Talk about easy!

Cooking with pressure cookers can be a little dangerous so we both were a little nervous using one so old (like fifty years) ! ( i stayed out of the kitchen most of the time)!!! Here are a couple of pictures! Seriousy if anyone wants to try some of the best beans ever...we will give you some!!!! Just let us know:)

This is the cooked hamburger with green chiles and the pinto beans that have soaked all night.

Here are just the beans with jalepenos cooking on the stove.

Finished product: You take the jalepenos out and then put the hamburger with green chiles in the pot. YUM!!
