Fun times!!

We had a great time at the Adairs a week before Christmas. Sorry no pictures:( There was a bunch of delicious soups, desserts and great company! I don't know Chad's extended family that well but the couple times a year I get to see them I enjoy it! They are great!!

Christmas eve we always have a game night of some sort with the Reeds.

The past two years we have done a white elephant gift exchange. This year I think Chad was very excited about what he opened!!

Christmas morning was spent at the Reeds...we had a wonderful breakfast: French Toast cooked in Egg Nog YUM!! Bacon, Sausage...Delicious! We opened presents where I got a big suprise! Chad bought me a Bosch. ( I have been using my mother in laws old one that you have to hold to the counter or it will walk away when it is mixing) We had exchanged gifts earlier in the week just becuase we couldnt wait:) He got me a scale to weigh my bread dough, a bucket for our food storage, cooling racks for bread...I thought that was it but I should have known. All the presents Christmas morning had been opened and my niece Kelsi brings me one last one...it said from baby Emi:) I was so suprised which is a big deal because Chad has a hard time keeping in suprises!! It was great!

Then we went to the Adairs. They had delicious homemade rolls with meat and cheese for sandwhiches. Also what is beginning to be my favorite treat..Heavenly Hash which is cottage cheese, cool whip, jello powder and pineapples..YUM!! We opened gifts there and I was once again pleasantly suprised with a Petunia Picklebottom diaper bag!! THANK YOU!! :)

Back to the Reeds that afternoon for the traditional Christmas dinner.....We were so full that night!! But what a great day! And a great reminder of how special families are! We are so grateful for our families and all that they do for us!
